  • Natural & Organic Beauty Haul | Naturisimo Order

I have been using these products on a daily basis for about a month or so, and I am quite happy with them, so I thought I would share my latest Naturisimo.com order with you more in detail. Voilà!

Oh, btw this article is unpaid (unfortunately 😊) and I’ve bought all the products myself.

    BURT’S BEES CLEANSING OIL

I have to admit that this purchase happened mainly due to a sudden „seduction”, because one of my favorite Youtubers, Valeria Lipovetsky (whose skin is simply amazingly fantastic which I am quite jealous of to be honest) uses it. Based on the ingredients probably I wouldn’t have bought it because there is fragrance in the 5th place of the INCI and there is also some coconut oil that can cause acne, but if Valeria’s skin is so beautiful, it can only be good. Right? 😊

I’ve been using it for almost a month, but only in the evening as part of my double cleansing routine, and I really like it. Seriously. It did not cause any breakouts, though I was terrified of it. Maybe it is also because I always use a second cleanser after it which is Acure’s Facial Cleansing Gel at the moment. (I’m getting there in a min!)

I do not take my makeup off with it so I can not tell if it works that way (it does! I tried it last night just for you guys ;). As a makeup remover I use Bioderma’s micellar water – it’s not bio, but it’s so good and honestly I have not found anything better so far. However, I can say that it will remove everything else, leaves no oily feeling (becomes a bit like a milky thing), yet it nourishes the skin nicely. Apart from the fragrances, I think there is no problem with the ingredients.

Burt’s Bees products contain 99-100% natural ingredients and are free from parabens, perfumes, PEGs, phthalates and synthetic colorants. In Hungary you can find them in Müller, but I did not remember if they had this oil cleanser, so I ordered it anyway. Next time though I’ll check it out for sure because I am planning to repurchase it.

Ingredients: Caprylic / capric triglyceride, crambe abyssinica seed oil, isoamyl laurate, polyglyceryl-2 sesquioleate, fragrance *, polyglyceryl-2 caprate, spinosa spinosa kernel oil, coconut nucifera (coconut oil), helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, tocopherol, hexyl cinnamal, hydroxycitronellal, limonene, linalool.

    ACURE FACIAL CLEANSING GEL

Now that I wanted to link this facewash for you, I can not find it on Naturisimo any more. Maybe I’ve ordered the last one? Hm … (I hope they will not take it off from the webshop). Anyways, I linked Love Lula. This cleanser was recommended to me by a nice blogger (she is very cute and I love her blog: smallbitofloveliness.com ) for my combo-oily skin as it’s specifically recommended for this skin type.

If you look at the ingredient list, you can see that there are plenty of fruit extracts (acai, blueberry, rosehip, pomegranate) including soothing calendula, chamomile, rooibos leaf extract, vegetable glycerin, chlorella (which by the way has anti-aging properties) and unfortunately lemon essential oil, which is not very „sympathetic”. But since it’s at the end of the list and it’s a face wash, I don’t see it as a huge problem.

Despite all the fragrance it hasn’t caused any problem. I like to use it (morning and evening), the only negative thing to me is the artificial lemon scent it has… I would say it smells like the worst toilet air freshener. But I’m getting used to it. 😊 Because I use so little fragranced products, I can smell all the scents much stronger I guess. But I can imagine that someone likes it. The cleanser itself is really gentle though, does not irritate and does not dry out my skin, so I truly really like it. This is my first Acure product by the way.

About the brand, I would like to mention that they donate to cancer research regularly and allow free mammography for endangered women – which is very sympathetic to me. It is always a pleasure to support such great family businesses!

Ingredients: Purified water/eau, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, euterpe oleracea (acai) fruit extract*, rubus fruticosus (blackberry) fruit extract*, rosa canina (rosehips) fruit extract*, punica granatum (pomegranate) fruit extract*, calendula officinalis (calendula) flower extract*, matricaria recutita (chamomile) flower extract*, aspalathus linearis (rooibos) leaf extract*, sodium cocoyl isethionate, coco hydroxysultane, sodium methyl cocoyl taurate, decyl polyglucoside, lauryl glucoside, disodium cocoaamphodiacetate, potassium olivoyl PCA, vegetable glycerin, citrus limon (lemon) essential oil, glucono delta lactone, potassium sorbate, chlorella vulgaris (chlorella) extract.

    TERRANOVA PROBIOTIC COMPLEX WITH PREBIOTICS

I often say that beautiful skin is primarily due to the health of our gut. I also wrote a whole blog post on this! Nowadays, the importance of taking probiotics is a huge trend which I have fallen for as well. Just because I see and experience myself that it really does make a difference. In my country (Hungary), however, there are not many good quality probiotic supplements yet, so I thought I would order one from the UK. And I have not regret it. The Terranova one was an amazing choice!! The price is still acceptable (I got it for £27.30 and there are 100 capsules, which is enough for exactly 100 days).

Why it is so amazing? Because it does not contain preservatives and animal ingredients (100% vegan!), but it does have 5 different bacteria in it: 500-700-800 million of most organisms, and 1 billion from one other type. In addition, there are prebiotics as well such as burdock root, beetroot + other vegetables (all in freeze-dried form, so they do not lose their nutrient content), + stabilized rice bran that provides fiber content. So it’s a pretty complex little thing, and I haven’t even mentioned Magnifood Complex, which is also in it – it is a trademark of Terranova, but I’m not going to go into that. 😊 You can read more about it here if you are interested.

So what have I experienced since taking it? First of all, I haven’t felt bloated at all, second – which is a bit weird – I’ve been less hungry.  This sounds kinda funny, but it is true. I think I have a little too much acid in my stomach, so if I do not have breakfast, I feel like I have a hole in my belly (in addition to basically passing out). I used to feel so much hunger sometimes that I could have seriously eaten up the whole fridge. Ever since I’ve been taking these, this feeling has completely disappeared. So much that now a lot of times have to remind myself that it’s lunch time. Actually, that was not a goal for me, but I’m glad it has an effect like that too. It’s pretty bad to be hungry all the time. 😊

I wrote another post about how I gave up coffee (I haven’t drank any for 2 months), and parallel to that I wanted to heal my gut in which this supplement also helps a lot. So I recommend it to everyone who would like to try a good quality probiotic not just to have beautifully glowing skin but also to tackle other health issues!

Ingredients: Lactobacillus plantarum (Rosell-1012), Lactobacillus casei (Rosell-215), Lactobacillus rhamnosus (Rosell-11), Lactobacillus acidophilus (Rosell-52), Bifidobacterium lactis (CHR Hansen BB-12), Burdock Root (fresh freeze dried – organic), Beetroot Juice & Greens (fresh freeze dried – organic), Stabilised Rice Bran, FOS (fructooligosaccharides), Larch Tree Arabinogalactan.

    TATA HARPER CLARIFYING MOISTURIZER

Tata Harper is one of my biggest role models (amazing what a “natural beauty” empire she has built up on her Vermont Farm, not to mention that her skin is the best advertisement for her beauty line) although I also think that her products are quite overpriced. The full package of this clarifying moisturizer is 96 pounds, which is like 33 thousand forints. Yeah, I know. No wonder why I only ordered a small sample.

Its INCI list that is super lengthy, begins with aloe, contains almond oil, lactiobacillus, evening primrose oil, sea buckthorn oil and hyaluronic acid, which I very much like, but – like most Tata stuff – there are also many plant based fragrances (sandalwood, arnica) and other fragrances (citral, citronellol, eugenol, etc.). However, I did not notice any irritation after repeated use. The scent is pretty strong, but the texture is super light and it absorbs quickly. It feels good to use it. Since this sample was very small, I can not really say if it clears up blemishes but it definitely does not cause more! I like it, but I would not purchase the whole package, as it is not outstanding.

Ingredients: Aloe barbadensis Leaf Juice*, Aqua/Water/Eau, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract*, Glycerin, Santalum Spicatum (Sandalwood) Seed Oil, Propanediol, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Seed Oil, Lactobacillus Ferment, Squalane, Lactobacillus, Polyglyceryl-2 Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate, Lactobacillus/Arundinaria Gigantea Ferment Filtrate, Oenothera biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil*, Hippophae rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Oil*, Hydrolyzed Avocado Protein, Alpha-glucan Oligosaccharide, Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Dictyopteris Membranacea (Sea fern) Extract, Zinc PCA, Copper PCA, Sambucus Nigra Fruit Extract, Serenoa serrulata fruit Extract, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Tasmannia Lanceolata Fruit/Leaf Extract, Tremella Fuciformis (mushroom) Extract, Lentinus Edodes Extract, Narcissus tazetta (Daffodil) Bulb Extract*, Menyanthes trifoliata (Buckbean) Flower Extract, Arnica montana (Arnica) Extract*, Borago officinalis (Borage) Leaf Extract*, Medicago sativa (Alfalfa) Extract*, Spiraea Ulmaria Flower Extract*, Calendula officinalis (Calendula) Flower Extract*, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Seed Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil*, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit extract, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Stearyl Alcohol, Sorbitan Olivate, Sclerotium Gum, Lysolecithin, Xanthan Gum, Pullulan, Phenethyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Olivate, Silica, Maltodextrin, Aroma**, Citral, Citronellol, Eugenol, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool.

    TATA HARPER REPAIRATIVE MOISTURIZER

Thanks to the cold winter, even my combo skin needs some extra hydration. That’s why I chose a sample of this regenerating moisturizer for dry skin. Although Paula Begoun talked very negatively about it on Beautypedia, I read a lot of good reviews as well, so I was curious if I liked i tor not.

It contains plenty of moisturizing ingredients: aloe, mango, olive, safflover, jojoba, borago oil, glycerin and vegetable fatty acids. But there are potentially irritating substances in it as well such as lavender, witch hazel or the radish root extract. I was trying to be very careful with it, but I haven’t had any problems at the end (no redness, no irritation).

The scent is a little too much (for my taste), even though it is nice and fresh, kind of a natural smell, so overall it is not disturbing at all. I think everyone should decide for themselves if they’re willing to risk using anything with too much fragrance (natural or not). To me it was very hydrating, but my face didn’t get overly shiny, I did not break out either, so I loved to use it. But since it’s also 96 pounds, I will not buy the whole bottle… unfortunately.

Ingredients: Aloe barbadensis leaf juice*, Mangifera indica (Mango) butter, Carthamus tinctorius (Safflower) oleosomes*, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Olea europea (Olive) oil*, Glycerin, Oryza sativa (Rice) extract*, Rosa damascena flower water*, Simmondsia chinensis (Jojoba) seed oil*, Cetearyl olivate, Leuconostoc ferment filtrate (radish root extract), Mel (honey), Sodium hyaluronate, Theobroma cacao*, Menyanthes trifoliata (Buckbean) leaf extract, Sambucus nigra (Elderberry) fruit extract, Salix alba (Willow) bark extract*, Medicago sativa (Alfalfa) leaf extract*, Borago officinalis leaf extract*, Calendula officinalis flower extract*, Spiraea Ulmaria (meadowsweet) flower extact*, Tilia europaea (Linden) leaf & flower extract*, Lavandula stoechas (Spanish Lavender) extract, Arnica montana leaf extract*, Galactoarabinan, Sclerotium gum, Sorbitan olivate, Cetyl palmitate, Sorbitan palmitate, Soybean peroxidase, Superoxide dismutase, Sodium phytate, Aroma**, Limonene, Citral, Geraniol, Citronellol, Linalool, Eugenol.

TATA HARPER VOLUMIZING LIP & CHEEK TINT

This tinted lipbalm kind of thing is the only Tata product that I had to order a full package of in the colour Very Popular. Love for first use! I ADORE it. That’s why I thought I’d try another color: Very Naughty. It is full of nourishing oils (coconut, sunflower seed, castor seed, green tea, acai, olive) and other moisturizing components (beeswax, sunflower seed wax) which you can actually feel when you use it. It makes my lips so soft, while giving them a beautiful natural colour: Very Popular is a pinkish, Very Naughty is a reddish, more lively shade. Both of them are super beautiful.

You can use it on your cheeks as well, where the result is also very natural. In fact, it kind of works as a “highlighter” too because of the nurishing oils in it. Thanks to its multifunctionality it has become a massive staple of my everyday make-up routine. 😊

There is only one drawback of this lip tint, namely that you have to put your finger in it, so bacteria can easily enter the product, but otherwise it is so good that I would never ever refuse to use it just because of this. Sometimes I sterilize it and that’s it. Plus, obviously, I only use it after I washed my hands. The price is also a little high (32 pounds), but it lasts ages. I really can only say good things about it! (This small 0,25 ml sample costs 1 pound and can be used for a long time too. 😉

Ingredients: Cocos nuciferra (Coconut) Fruit Extract, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Helianthus annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil*, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Cera Alba (Beeswax)*, Carmine, Vegetable Oil, Helianthus annuus (Sunflower) Seed wax, Camellia sinensis (Green Tea) seed oil*, Palmitoyl Isoleucine, Euterpe oleracea (Acai) fruit oil*, Plukenetia Volubilis Seed Oil*, Arnica Montana (Arnica) Extract*, Borago Officinalis (Borage) Leaf Extract*, Medicago Sativa (Alfalfa) Extract*, Spiraea Ulmaria Flower Extract*, Calendula Officinalis (Calendula) Flower Extract*, Sambucus Nigra Fruit Extract, Lavandula stoechas (Spanish Lavender) Extract, Jojoba Esters, Trihydroxystearin, Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil*, Octyldodecanol, Tocopherol, Natural and Organic Flavours, Iron Oxides (CI 77491).

    THERAPIE RESTORE AURA SPRAY

I’ve written a mini post about my aura spray on Instagram already. 😊 This one is actually also a sample, which was 32 pounds (for 30 ml) so I think it’s absolutely worth it. I am more and more interested in aromatherapy and although I do not like too much fragrance in my creams, I regularly use essential oils to refresh the air or disinfect our apartment (last year I got a diffuser which I am in love with).

So what you do is that you spritz a little bit of the aura spray around you in the air (or on your face, but I don’t really do that) and it calms you immediately. This is actually its purpose: clears negativity, anxiety, fatigue and helps to re-balance your body&soul. I am absolutely loving this aromatherapy blend and I’m spritzing it around at home all the time (I would also take it with me everywhere, but it might be a bit strange if I started spritzing it on the tram or in a coffee shop, hehehe. 😊)

    Key Ingredients (from naturisimo.com):

Rosewater Hydrosol is a cooling and mood soothing fragrance

    Frankincense Hydrosol calms and hydrates

Wild Rose Absolute soothes the heart

    Tropical Basil Oil for focus

White Sage Oil cleanses and clears negativity

Lemon Oil to energise and Fragonia Oil to soothe anxiety

Rosemary Oil protects and refreshes and Spearmint Oil helps revive

Aloe Extract to calm and Cucumber Extract to cool

    Amethyst Tincture clears negativity

Rose Quartz opens a closed heart and Aqua Aura expands perspectives

Ingredients: Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Boswellia Serrate Water, Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root Extract: Cucumis Sativus Fruit Extract; Polysorbate 20; Rosa Centifolia Flower Oil, Ocimum Basilicum Oil, Agonis Fragrans Branch/Leaf Oil; Aqua; Citrus Limon Peel Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Oil; Mentha Spicata Herb Oil; Salvia Aplana Oil; Alcohol. Allergens: Geraniol, Citronellol, Benzyl Alcohol, D Limonene, Eugenol, Citronellol, Citral.

100% PURE FRUIT PIGMENTED BRIGHTENING CONCEALER

Now, this is a hard one, I mean the concealer topic. Even amongst the non-natural ones, it is difficult to find a good one, not to mention the natural ones (the struggle is real!). I used to probably like the Nars Concealer the most („semi-natural”, at least does not contain parabens, alcohol and perfume), but I wanted to find something super healthy and non-toxic. To me – being over 34 yrs old – in addition to good coverage, it’s also V important that a concealer does not tend to sit in the wrinkles around the eyes.

For first use, the 100% Pure seemed pretty good, but somehow it did not really convince me later on. It seems like it’s started to kind of dry out after I opened it… and not that it fades but actually emphasizes my dark circles and wrinkles, which I’m obviously not very happy about. I ordered the lightest shade (Creme) but I feel that it’s a bit too light even for my snow white skin.

The INCI is pretty much Ok, there is a bit of a fragrance, but it also has some light sun protection, rosehip oil, green tea, coffee, vitamin E and C. It is vegan, gluten-free, cruelty-free, etc. etc. Overall not bad, but not the best either. For these reasons, I do not think I will repurchase it. So I’m still looking for the perfect natural concealer … If you have any suggestions, please do not hesitate to write a comment here, or on Instagram/Facebook. I would be very happy if you did! 😊

BALANCE ME SUPER TONING BODY OIL

My skin is very-very dry on my body and I can only blame myself for it. In general, using body lotions and stuff is the part of self-care that I tend to procrastinate. (Shame on me!) Well, I am a mother, and while I like to take time to spend on my facial skincare routine, for my body I often does not have much time left. And frankly, I find it quite boring as well. But recently I got to the point where I decided I really needed some kind of body oil that I like to use and is able to rebuild the moisture where its needed (especially on my lower leg).

I’ve found very good reviews on this Balance Me Super Toning Body Oil, so I thought I would give it a go. I’m not as critical of essential oils and fragrances on body products as much as the ones for the face, indeed I find it kind of motivating if a little bit of aromatherapy is involved in this “disliked” activity.

The basis of this oil blend is almond and wheat germ oil, but it contains macadamia and jojoba oil as well as vitamin E. Of course it is vegan, free from all nasties and was not tested on animals. It is specifically recommended for the problematic areas of the body (bottom, hip, thighs, arms, belly) because it has a tightening, circulation boosting effect. It really is pretty great, but of course you can not expect a miracle.

The oil itself is quite thick, but it dissolves easily. I usually use it directly after dry brushing and a nice, warm shower, so it is absorbes very well. I like the scent of it too (very rosemary-ish), I really can not say anything bad about it. Oh, ok, wait, I can. It is not cheap, but at least you get 200 ml. 😊

Ingredients: Prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, Triticum vulgare (wheat) germ oil, Macadamia ternifolia (macadamia) nut oil, Simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) oil, Tocopherol (vitamin E), Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) extract, Citrus aurantium bergamia (bergamot) fruit oil*, Juniperus communis (juniper) fruit oil*, Pelargonium graveolens (geranium) flower oil*, Lavandula angustifolia (lavender) flower oil*, Limonene**, Linalool**, Citral**, Geraniol**, Citronellol**.

    * Natural pure essential oils. ** Naturally occurring in essential oils.

    PUKKA CLEAN GREENS POWDER

As you most probably already know, I’m not a big fan of superfood powders, or I’d rather say the trend that some people tend to overdo using them. Despite this Pukka “vegetable powder” got me pretty interested, because obviously if there is a way I can put more vegetables in my body, I am in. In this small sachet there are plenty of goodies: 20% wheat grass juice powder, 20% freeze-dried nettle leaf (amazing liver and blood cleanser with anti-blemish effect), parsley, spirulina, chlorella, seaweed, 5% kale seed sprouts, fennel (helps digestion), peppermint, green tea leaf and ginger.

The formula contains the highest organic grade, sustainably cultivated fruits and herbs + free from parabens, petrochemicals, dairy, wheat grain, sugar, gluten, soya and GMOs plus it is vegan. YES!

They say this little sample (4 grams) is enough for one use, but actually I easily used it twice. Both times in a smoothie, and it does not have a strong taste at all, in fact. You can taste it a little bit, but it’s quite nice. I’ve known Pukka teas already (love all of them), and I was not disappointed at all this time either.

Oh, and the sentence they „bought me” with: “With regular use you should notice improvements in your digestion, skin appearance and general wellbeing.” Reasonable, right? 😊

Unfortunately, it’s a bit expensive for a total of 112 grams (£27.95), but I’m thinking about investing in it sometime soon. I am just hoping for a good discount! 😊

Ingredients: Wheat Grass juice powder 30:1 25%, Nettle leaf fresh freeze dried 9:1 20%, Parsley leaf, Spirulina, Chlorella cracked-cell, Seagreens® Arctic fresh seaweed, Kale seed sprouts fresh freeze dried 5%, Fennel seed, Peppermint leaf, Green tea leaf aqueous extract, Ginger root.

Have you ever tried any of these products? Or maybe you are planning..? Let me know!

    Have a wonderful day!

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know a lot about this,
like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with some pics to drive the
message home a little bit, but other than that, this is great blog.
A great read. I will certainly be back.
